Non Pareiles

Non Pareiles is a light with tint splashes of yellow,green, blue with an underlying gray tone. It was used for the face of the goat in "Spring Mischief" ( Rug Hooking Magazine Mar/ April/May 2016). Another one for a light background for a floral or interesting ice. Dark Non Pareiles is a nice taupe with the same splashes of subtle colors and a great neutral background, especially for primitive or tonal colors. Newly added is Naked Non pareiles. Everytime I laid the base colors for Non Pareiles I thought how pretty and wouldn't this be a nice light background for florals or a vase full of flowers. it's over natural with splashes of yellow, pink, fuchsia, blue, purple and green. There are two vesrsions of Naked Non Pareiles - Original has high contrast of colors and Non Pareiles/S is dyed on the wrong side so that the right side is paler and softer.
