Lemongrass

Lemongrass was developed for the background of David Galchutts "Chirp". These patterns are available on Etsy and wonderful, challenging patterns. This is in the yellow section but it has a hint of green and is quite similar to a pale lemongrass color. It's a nice light background and fairly neutral. It'll add a bit of warmth to your rug. I think it would make a beautiful light flower especially using the 8 Value Swatch. It would be warm but softer than yellow. Or use if for accents. Medium Lemongrass would be a nice leaf vein. I had a request for Lemongrass in a swatch, I liked the range of values and saw they were different from anything else in my palate. This was in the Wool Club as a Watercolor Technique, so if that is what you are looking for it is Lemongrass/WC.

Ives Color: I can't identify this as yellow as it has a hint of green to it but not as much green as Chartreuse.
