Checkerboard Redwork Mat

I love Redwork Embroidery and designed a purse in 2009 based on the style. This is the motif from that original design which I have always wanted to do more designs with. It's such a flowing graceful design that could be multiple ways. I just love this design with the checkerboard as it makes a great visual border that sets off the sweet design.
