Basket of Tulips
A delightful bouquet of tulips with the promise of more beauty awaiting us in our gardens. So many compliment and ask for the background wools . There are 5 different colors used for this that I developed. They gradually get darker and dye colors, all the same, are mixed in strength for more variation. They are listed below for your convenience. Pattern on Linen #FPBD2010212 Size: 24in. x 30in.

There are 5 pieces in this series developed for the background in Tulip Basket. It begins with this, the lightest and with each subsequent piece they get darker and there are subtle color variations also. It makes for a beautiful background with lots of movement. This piece has subtle splashes of dark red.

Here is the 2nd in the series developed for the background of my pattern Basket of Tulips. This background is well loved! There are 5 values from light to darker and with each variation there is a slight change in the dye amounts. Some will have a bit more purple, more subtle splashes of color. They blend beautifully creating a very interesting background with good movement. They are listed from light to darker.
